Good Evening Families,

Report cards came home this week.  Please be sure to check your child's backpack if you haven't seen the report card yet.  We will have Parent/Teacher conference night on Feb. 15th to discuss what is taking place for the third quarter with your child(ren).  Interims and grades should never be a surprise.  Parents/Guardians you can check your child's progress in Home Access.  You are also more than welcome to reach out to your child's teacher if you ever have any questions or concerns about grades.

Students who are behind in meeting their teacher's expectations for iReady each week will be spending their lunch and possibly recess in the iReady room on Fridays.  This gives students the opportunity to work in iReady while eating in an effort to get caught back up.  We will also be having a weekly iReady competition between all grade levels.  The grades who have 90% passage of at least three iReady reading lessons each week will earn a sticker.  At the end of the month, the grades with the most stickers will win a prize!

Feb. 7th - 7:00 PTA mtg.

Feb. 10th - Valentine's Day parties.  Check with your child's classroom teacher(s) to see what the expectations are for the party in each classroom.

Feb. 17th & 20th - No School

Feb. 27th - Read Across America Week - stay tuned for daily themes!

March 1st - KG Registration Opens!
